Job Title: HL7 Engineer

Role Summary

The HL7 Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting HL7 interfaces to enable seamless data exchange between clinical and non clinical healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain HL7 v2 and related healthcare interfaces
• Integrate EMR EHR systems, labs, radiology, billing, and third party applications
• Monitor interface performance and troubleshoot data flow issues
• Analyze HL7 messages and resolve errors using interface engines
• Collaborate with clinical, application, and infrastructure teams
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and security requirements

Required Skills

• Strong experience with HL7 v2 messaging
• Knowledge of interface engines (e.g., Mirth, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody)
• Understanding of healthcare workflows and data standards
• SQL and basic scripting skills
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
